Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RapidVuln (the "Service"), operated by RapidVuln ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, submitting a website for scanning, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What RapidVuln Does

RapidVuln runs automated security scans against a website you provide (port/service checks, SSL/TLS analysis, HTTP header review, DNS/email authentication checks, and limited active checks for common web vulnerabilities) and delivers a plain-English report summarizing what was found.

The Service is informational only. It is an automated, point-in-time scan — it is not a professional penetration test, a compliance certification, or a guarantee that a scanned site is secure. Automated tools can miss real issues and can occasionally flag things that turn out not to be problems. You're responsible for independently verifying anything material before acting on it.

2. Authorization to Scan — Your Responsibility

Some of what the Service does involves actively probing the target website (for example, submitting test input to forms and URL parameters to check for injection-style vulnerabilities). Running these checks against a website without permission from its owner can violate computer-misuse laws, regardless of intent.

By submitting a URL to be scanned, you represent and warrant that you own that website, or you have documented, explicit authorization from its owner to have it scanned. You are solely responsible for confirming that authorization before submitting a scan. RapidVuln is not responsible for verifying ownership or authorization of any target you submit, and we accept no liability for scans you initiate against a site you weren't authorized to test.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account we reasonably suspect is being used to scan targets without proper authorization, and to refuse service for any target at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will identify every vulnerability present on a scanned site, that findings are free of false positives or false negatives, or that use of the Service will prevent a security incident.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RapidVuln and its owners/operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service — including damages resulting from a security incident on a scanned site, action taken (or not taken) based on a report, or any legal consequence of scanning a target without proper authorization. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RapidVuln harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your submission of an unauthorized scan target, or your misuse of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state/jurisdiction to be filled in], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
